10/27/17 - We are saddened by the passing of past president and longtime member Chuck Franz. May he rest in peace. Prayers to his family.

11/9/2017 - We are all saddened by the passing of possibly one of the most notable mineralogists of our time, Pete Dunn, who was a key to bringing his knowledge of mineralogy of the Franklin-Sterling Hill area, to us and the world. He will be missed.
